I expected plot armour in books 2 and 3 but I kind of hoped it would expire in book 4. It's been released in UK and US editions, as well as translated into German, Dutch, Turkish and Bulgarian. The only thing is, for now, I'm going through the first chapters with a sense of frustration.

I went into the series blind and bought the first book, Mage's Blood, on a whim. 'Modern epic fantasy at its best' - Fantasy Book Critic. I just finished reading the Moontide Quartet series by David Hair. The Moontide has come, and the clash between East and West begins again. It has everything a fantasy novel should have. He has a degree in History and Classical Studies. I keep hearing about the Rimini, the Silacians, the Rondians, and Norromen.
Moontide is a 1942 American film produced by Mark Hellinger and directed by Archie Mayo, who took over direction after initial director Fritz Lang left the project early in the shooting schedule.
